Holidays from the Heart

Holidays from the Heart graphicDue to the stigma of mental illness, persons with mental health diagnoses are often overlooked where holiday giving is concerned. The “Holidays from the Heart" campaign is determined to change that.

The holiday gift campaign will provide gifts for all UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital inpatients, from children and adolescents through seniors, as well as for patients at our residential facilities.

The 2022 holiday gift presentation with a performance featuring campaign chair Marianne Cornetti, internationally recognized opera performer and artistic director of the Pittsburgh Opera Festival, and a growing list of friends and supporters, will take place on Friday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m.
