The UPMC Jameson Partial Hospitalization Program is a comprehensive, short term outpatient behavioral health treatment program. It is designed to help adults ages 18 and older who are experiencing mental or emotional instability, either to prevent inpatient hospitalization or to act as a step-down program for those recently discharged from inpatient behavioral health care.
For more information about the Partial Hospitalization Program, call 724-531-6616.
Program participants interact with mental health professionals including psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses to develop skills to manage their symptoms and their lives. A blend of group and individual therapy enables participants to learn and grow with a supportive cohort, while also receiving individualized care.
Participants attend structured programs three to five days a week during the day, then return home in the evening.
