UPMC Hamot is proud to partner with the Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE), a regional nonprofit organization that works with families of organ donors and health care organizations to recover organs for patients who need them.
CORE is one of 58 federally designated not-for-profit organ procurement organizations in the country and serves 155 hospitals throughout western Pennsylvania and portions of West Virginia and New York.
