UPMC Chautauqua, a 317-licensed bed hospital, was chartered in 1885, is Southwestern New York's largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, offering an extensive range of inpatient and outpatient acute and rehabilitation services. It is situated less than an hour away from Erie, Pennsylvania and Buffalo, New York. Pittsburgh and Toronto are only 2-1/2 hours away. Fredonia is near the renowned Chautauqua Institute, a major cultural center for the arts and music in Southwestern New York.
The numerous amenities of Lake Erie encompass miles of beautiful beaches and offers the perfect setting for boating, water skiing, wind surfing, sailing and fishing. Elizabeth joined the UPMC Hamot physician recruitment team in 2019, recruiting physicians for UPMC Hamot as well as additional hospitals in UPMC's northern tier. She started her UPMC career in 2017 as a communications specialist in clinical marketing and community relations. Elizabeth received a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Kent State University.
